LG’s WiFi-enabled and DivX-friendly BD390 Blu-ray Player

LG has finally released the world’s first DivX HD 1080p certified player, the BD390, which was debuted at CES this year. The player features an 802.11n Wi-Fi module and support for DivX streaming from a DLNA server. Priced at $399.95, the LG BD390 also features BD-Live support, a 7.1-channel audio output, a 1GB of built-in memory, and a USB 2.0 socket.

Acer Aspire One 571 With Mini Blu-Ray Drive!

Here’s a good news for all netbook lovers out there, cause real soon Acer will be launching their first netbook ‘Aspire One 571′ that features a mini Blu-ray drive. Some of the specs you’ll find within this new system include an Intel Atom N280 processor, Quartics Q1721 Multimedia Coprocessor for encoding and decoding of H.264 content and the all new Vmedia’s optical drive for reading tiny Blu-ray discs with a diameter of only 32mm and a capacity of 1GB. LG HB954TBW Blu-Ray Home Theater Combo With An iPod Dock

LG Korea has added a new Blu-Ray 5.1 Home Theater combo to their range with the introduction of the HB954TBW that comes equipped with an iPod dock. Unfortunately, there’s not much information given at the moment, but from what we heard this iPod dock will accept all iPod models allowing you to listen to any song within your devices. The HB954TBW will be sold in Korea for around 1,299,000 KRW ($1,038).

Buffalo’s Latest DVD SuperMulti with HD Up-scaling

The Buffalo DVSM-U24FBS DVD SuperMulti is able to record up to 24x DVD±Rs and provides basic up-scaling of any DVDs in 1080/60p. However, you should have a PC with a 1.5GHz Core 2 Duo or 1.8GHz Turion64×2 CPU for a minimum specs. This DVD SuperMulti will be released in Japan later this month for 5800 Yen ($60).

Asus U Series Notebook PCs

Asus comes back with three new members of its designer U series laptop that looks like the Apple MacBook Air. The 12-inch U20A, 13.3-inch UX30 and 15.6-inch UX50V are all based on Intel’s Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV), ranging from the entry 1.2GHz Celeron M in the U20A to the 1.3GHz Pentium, 1.4GHz Core 2 Solo and 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo in the UX30 and UX50V. The thinnest model is the UX30 that measures 0.9-inch thick and weights at only 3.5 pounds (without a DVD burner). All models feature 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LED-backlit screen, up to 500GB HDD, and up to 4GB of RAM. The U20A and UX30 use Intel’s GMA 4500 graphics, meanwhile the UX50V has a dedicated GeForce G 105M with 512MB of video memory.

Pioneer AVIC-F310BT In-car Entertainment System with GPS

The Pioneer AVIC-F310BT in-car entertainment system also features GPS capability. Priced at only $1,060(€799), this gadget has a removable touchscreen display, an FM radio, a CD player, USB connectivity, and Bluetooth support. Using the Pioneer AVIC-F310BT, you will be able to travel through at least 44 European countries without any worries of getting lost thanks to its GPS capability. The gadget also provides free TMC traffic updates for stress-free travel. Its SD memory card slot allows you to update the POIs in the system whenever there is a new update.

Samsung Releases Preston and Star Mobile Phones

Samsung has launched two new cell phones for the mass market. Known as the Preston (S5600) and Star (S5230), both handsets are almost similar except that the Preston boasts a faster HSDPA connectivity for data. The Samsung Preston and Star feature an integrated FM radio, a 3.2MP camera, and Bluetooth connectivity. The Preston features a 2.8-inch display, meanwhile the Star has a larger 3-inch display. Both phones also use the Widget UI that allows you to drag and drop widgets onto the main screen depending on what you need to access.

ZyXEL DMA-2500 Streams 1080p HD Video

ZyXEL has quietly released the DMA-2500, which is a new Digital Media adapter that streams 1080p High-Definition Videos from networked storage to your HD television. The DMA-2500 is also DLNA 1.5 certified gadget and features built-in Access to Web TV and Internet Radio Live365.
