Two LG Blu-Ray player with HD Streaming

The LG BD370 and BD390 are two new Blu-Ray players from LG that offers you instant access to the latest movie titles from CinemaNow, and entertainment options with YouTube access. Other specs are include full HD 1080p Blu-ray disc playback with BD-Live and BonusView, NetCast Entertainment Access, Netflix instant streaming ready, 1080p Upscaling for standard DVD, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio Essential and USB Media Host. These Blu-ray players will be released in the third quarter of 2009. No info on pricing at this time.

Divx 7 with H.264 Video Compression

Divx has announced the newest version of their video player, which is based on the H.264 video compression standard and offers video at up to 1080p HD resolution. The new version is available in two formats including the free download Divx 7 for Windows for Divx video playback and Divx 7 Pro which allows for Divx video creation. The company also releases Divx Plus Certification program which enables the implementation of Divx technology on game consoles, televisions, mobile devices, and more.

The Sony Ericsson C510 Cyber-shot is the first camera phone in the world that adopts the smile shutter technology. The handset is powered by a 3.2MP camera module with face detection feature and auto focus camera lens. The mobile phone supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and UMTS/HSPA 850/1900/2100 and comes with Access NetFront Web browser, Java, Bluetooth, Geo tagging of photos (cell-id), and Google Maps. Available in Future Black or Radiation Silver, this camera phone will be available in selected markets from Q1.

World’s Lightest 8-inch Netbook by Sony

The world’s lightest 8-inch netbook is now officially confirmed. Weighing at just 1.4 pounds, this Vista-based netbook offers 1,600 x 768 resolution LED-backlit XBRITE-ECO LCD display, 802.11n WiFi, 3G WWAN, Bluetooth, webcam, a battery good for four hours (eight hours with the optional high-capacity cell) and a GPS module. There is also an instant-on mode that launches directly into Sony’s Xross Media Bar interface. Available in garnet red, emerald green, onyx black, crystal white and classic black hues, the Sony VAIO P will be released in February for $900 upwards

Here is the latest version of Sony’s Walkman headset. The Sony NWZ-W202 supports MP3, AAC, WMA (DRM), L-PCM and WMT file formats and fully charges in 30 minutes for over 12 hours of music playback. Available in black or pink, it has 2 GB of storage capacity and will be available in April 2009 for $70.
